Welcome to the Sylmar Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
We are a small, multi-national church in the northern-most section of Los Angeles, California. Our primary language is English.
Seventh-day Adventists read and believe the entire Bible. We believe that the seventh-day Sabbath still holds, that Jesus came about 2000 years ago to offer a sacrifice for the sin of the world, (The First Advent), and that He will return to gather His saints (The Second Advent). These beliefs form our name.
Our services are on Saturdays. We have a study period (Sabbath School) each Sabbath morning. The program starts at 9:15 AM and classes start at 10:00 AM. There are classes for: Adult, Youth/Young Adult, Junior, Primary, and Kindergarten/Cradle Roll. One adult class is in English and one is in Spanish.
The Divine Service is at 11:00.
We share a Fellowship lunch each week after church. All dishes are vegetarian. Our visitors are welcome to stay and share with us even though you did not bring a contribution.
After the fellowship lunch, we have an afternoon Bible study period at 2:00 PM.
We are currently served by Pastor Geof Park. Since Pastor Park has duties elsewhere, we often have a variety of guest speakers.
We have some of our sermons available to listen on line. Select "Media Library" above.
